In 2008, Minnesota began construction of a statewide comprehensive claims database — part of the state's innovative efforts to reform healthcare. It chose us to help. Onpoint has been working with the Minnesota Department of Health for the past six years, helping develop data collection rules, designing and building the claims database, and collecting, processing, and validating the secure data.

The end result: the Minnesota All Payer Claims Database (MN APCD), sometimes also referred to as the Minnesota Health Care Claims Reporting System (MHCCRS) for data intake purposes. The deliverables: solid, reliable, and independent data to help Minnesota better understand its healthcare utilization, costs, and quality.

On these pages, you'll find tools and information on how the process works, including how submitters standardize data and protect privacy in the State.

Meeting the requirements of APCD reporting can sometimes seem like a complicated process. Onpoint is here to help. Our intake staff are trained, experienced, and ready to work with you. If you have a question, we’ll help find the answer. Look around, explore, and don't hesitate to get in touch if you need assistance at any time.
